Front Garden Paving Legislation
Legislation regarding the use of permeable paving solutions in front gardens and driveways is currently before parliament in the UK.
The legislation, known as SUDs (Sustainable Urban Drainage) basically says that you must now apply for planning permission if you are looking to contruct a driveway from non-permeable materials.
If you plan to use a permeable block paving such as those produced by Marhsalls or Bradstone, you do not need planning permission and you can construct your driveway without seeking consent frmo your local council
